I am looking for a crochet coat pattern with a hood. I saw one in Crochet magazine Sept/Oct issue but I did not purchase the magazine. Now I do not know where to get the pattern.

My mother was such a crocheter, the picture in the magazine was enough for her. She was very poor at trying to read instructions. I learned as a teen and taught my mom many things.
I not only acquired this skill from her to work from pictures, but I can read any type instructions, also put any type project in to any type of art and design most anything.
I hope we are amoung millions, but
no one can know, if they do not ask.

I’m trying to make a blanket for my daughter and I wanted the middle to be a design which is this circle that I’m finishing up. But now I want to transition into the square shape that I want the blanket to be. The circle is way bigger that your regular small granny square, it’s about 8 inches across. Can anyone help???

The art of crochet covers a very large terrirory or field.
I know that from years back being
cretified by Craft Yarn Council of America surely meant teacher qualifications.
Sorry, certified.
Can any one who want to do so, make a crochet video.

I’m ready once and for all to downsize my stash of craft books (mostly knitting, crocheting, cross stitch), magazines, and supplies. I’d like to know how others have succeeded and what they recommend. I’ve had limited success with Amazon, and am now considering Yahoo groups, eBay, blujay, and such. Ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

This was a pattern on Aunt Lydia’s thread as a freebie. It is for a Christmas Boot that you could use for candy or whatever. I can’t find my copy and really want to make another. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to make a toy horse (stuffed) for a relative of mine and I’m wanting to make a stuffed panda for my friends who are in a sorority with me. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find some free patterns on the internet or where I can buy some at a store? I would prefer a crochet pattern, but I can knit if need be. Thanks, I really appreciate it!

I know that “do not turn” is usually used when you are working in rounds, but I’m making a straight scarf, so I’m quite confused. I’m right handed, so does this just mean that I work my first row from right to left like I normally do and then my second row from left to right? I’m so confused about this. I’ve never done anything without turning it.

I consider myself a beginner, I have only made blankets, pot holders, and the such. I am interested in finding an easy pattern to make and donate these caps to a hospital. Any help is greatly appreciated.
